Coronavirus and the Microbiome: Diversity, Prevotella and Reducing Bacterial Translocation to Reduce Virulence
This is an overview of Part 1 + 2 of Dr. Code and Kristina Mitts’ Facebook Live series on Coronavirus and the microbiome. To get all the details make sure you watch the replay, but if you lack the time here are the main points. Studies out of China have revealed characteristic imbalances occurring within the gut and lung microbiomes of COVID-19 patients making them more susceptible to fatality. Evidently, this is one aspect of our health that, if imbalanced, will promote disease progression of the Corona Virus.
